Serica L. Oakes (Serica L.オークス Serica L. Ōkusu) is an S-Class mage and the Co-Guild Ace of Mermaid Heel, alongside her partners Rikka Seyl and Aislin Robin. Serica is known for being able to use Plant Magic, Love Magic: Méduse and her signature magic Distortion Arts.

Magic and Abilities[]
Distortion Arts: When Serica uses this magic she is capable of creating a magical barrier, or room as she calls it, around a certain area, or in a certain room (building), in which she than creates "Laws" which all things inside of this barrier must obey. The laws that she mainly uses prevents the people/objects in the barrier to remain in the barrier or prevent the targets from using magic. She uses these barriers to also deflect all of the physical attacks cast out on her, although being hit giving those who hit her all the damage. Sometimes she will also use a support law when fighting alongside the others in Femme Fatale Kin to work together and boos tthe power of all their spells and attacks, making Serica very difficult to defeat.
- Chamber: This spell causes the entire area to be coated in the barrier, only being used indoors, in which Serica then begins to create laws. All targets inside of this barrier will be unable to use their magic, or if allowed Serica will be able to redirect the spell at them. In this spell Serica is shown to be able to create a distorted armor around her, which all attacks then ricochet away from, not even making her have to cast another spell.
- Venom Wave: This spell creates a venomous snake, made out of a mizture of acid and poison spirals outwards, either from Serica's hand or from below the target, which then swirls them and encases them in the ropes of the venomous snake, then poisoning them, and making them ill. If bitten by this snake the opponent is knocked unconcious immediately.
- Energy Spin: When used Serica creates a katana and spins around whilst unleashing it which sends it flying, any element of choice spinning along with it. This katana is known to slice through obstacled, but when making contact with the human body unleashes only the energy of the element at the target.
- Shattering Distort: Serica uses this spell and is known to be deadly for it, as she distorts the barrier that she has created around her fingertips, to make a circular disk around her hand, which then when she moves her hand through the air, shatters and distorts the barrier which can cause immense pain to the target, and shatter the object (if the target is inanimate) which has been shown to be very handy.
